Arti Rajesh Golhar,Dr.Nitin K Choudhari,Dr. Pratibha s Sawadh
International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences , 2011,
Abstract: Ultrasonic pulse echo systems are well established tools for non destructive evaluation. The characteristics of Aluminium depend on the composition as well as internal structure of the materials. In this paper an attempt is made to characterize Aluminium metals by ultrasonic Non Destructive Techniques. Sound velocity of various aluminum samples has been recorded before and after providing heating treatment, which is utilized to compare with the composition of Aluminum sample. For this a graphs are plotted, to observe the variation of composition in aluminum sample with sound velocity.

Journal of Biomedical Science and Engineering (JBiSE) , 2009, DOI: 10.4236/jbise.2009.26055
Abstract: Variations in fetal heart rate (FHR) is a potential indicator of stress on unborn in the womb of mother. In hospitals, FHR surveillance is performed by ultrasound based Doppler equip-ments. However, recent studies show that frequent exposure to ultrasound radiations is not recommended for the fetal well-being. Because of this and many other reasons, these instruments are not recommended for prolonged home monitoring applications. This work is focused around development of a prototype system for fetal home monitoring application. Presented system can record the abnormal FHR and alert the pregnant women to report to a physician. Recorded data is then processed by a novel methodology for deriving results of diagnostic importance. The instrument has been tested on pregnant women in the clinical environment and has gone through an extensive clinical trial at local hospitals. The results show that the technique is suitable and effective for long-term FHR home monitoring application.
Very Low Power Viterbi Decoder Employing Minimum Transition and Exchangeless Algorithms for Multimedia Mobile Communication
Prof. S. L. Haridas,Dr. N. K. Choudhari
International Journal of Advanced Computer Sciences and Applications , 2011,
Abstract: A very low power consumption viterbi decoder has been developed by low supply voltage and 0.15 μm CMOS process technology. Significant power reduction can be achieved by modifying the design and implementation of viterbi decoder using conventional techniques traceback and Register Exchange to Hybrid Register Exchange Method (HREM), Minimum Transition Register Exchange Method (MTREM), Minimum Transition Hybrid Register Exchange Method (MTHREM), Register exchangeless Method and Hybrid Register exchangeless Method. By employing the above said schemes such as, HREM, MTREM, MTHREM, Register exchangeless Method and Hybrid Register exchangeless Method; the viterbi decoder achieves a drastic reduction in power consumption below 100 μW at a supply voltage of 1.62 V when the data rate of 5 Mb/s and the bit error rate is less than 10-3. This excellent performance has been paved the way to employing the strong forward error correction and low power consumption portable terminals for personnel communication, mobile multimedia communication and digital audio broadcasting. Implementation insight and general conclusions can particularly benefit from this approach are given.
Quality by Design: Impact of Product Variables and Their Interaction on the Particle Size in Lyophilization of Sodium Fluoride  [PDF]

Soft Nanoscience Letters (SNL) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/snl.2016.61001
Abstract: The aim of present study was to use QbD approaches to evaluate the effect of independent product variables and their interaction on particle size of sodium fluoride and then obtain the optimized experimental condition for predefined particle size of sodium fluoride. The sodium fluoride is mainly used in dental preparation for delivering the fluoride ion to the tooth enamel for that nano-particle size is required. Nowadays the milling process is used to reduce the particle size. But that process has some limitations due to crystalline nature of sodium fluoride; for overcoming those limitations, lyophilization method is used. A 43 level full factorial design was used to study the significant influence of process and product variables i.e. 1) Concentration of sodium fluoride, 2) Concentration of PVP, 3) Sample volume, 4) Drying surface, on particle size of sodium fluoride. The experimental design result shows that independent product variables significantly modify the structure and improve particle size reduction of sodium fluoride.

International Journal of Computers & Technology , 2013,
Abstract: In this paper, we present a graphical tool, which will help us with algorithms that are used for finding Quality of Service. This tool relates these algorithms to the real world and thus provides a better insight into the actual problems of deploying sensors in a field and finding out whether QoS would be achieved or not. We have used Mathematical Gur Game and its application to deploy the sensors in the homogeneous are, which is selected from the Irregular Polygon.

International Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering , 2013,
Abstract: We live in an era of computers. From the smallest embedded system to the complex servers that take care of the world economy, we need microprocessors to run them. As time passed by, applications needed more processing power and this lead to an explosive era of research on the architecture of microprocessors. As part of our project we are going to present a technical & comparative study of these smart microprocessors. It will include the different software & hardware technical aspects of such devices for instance OS, applications used, hardware study etc. In this report, we study and compare two microprocessor families that have been at the core of the world’s most popular microprocessors of today – 64 bit microprocessor & Apple microprocessor.
A Low Power VITERBI Decoder Design With Minimum Transition Hybrid Register Exchange Processing For Wireless Applications
S. L. Haridas,K. Choudhari
International Journal of VLSI Design & Communication Systems , 2010,
Abstract: This work proposes the low power implementation of Viterbi Decoder. Majority of viterbi decoder designs in the past use simple Register Exchange or Traceback method to achieve very high speed and low power decoding respectively, but it suffers from both complex routing and high switching activity. Here simplification is made in survivor memory unit by storing only m-1 bits to identify previous state in the survivor path, and by assigning m-1 registers to decision vectors. This approach eliminates unnecessary shift operations. Also for storing the decoded data only half memory is required than register exchange method. In this paper Hybrid approach that combines both Traceback and Register Exchange schemes has been applied to the viterbi decoder design. By using distance properties of encoder we further modified to minimum transition hybrid register exchange method. It leads to lower dynamic power consumption because of lower switching activity. Dynamic power estimation obtained through gate level simulation indicates that the proposed design reduces the power dissipation of a conventional viterbi decoder design by 30%.
ANALYSIS OF MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY IN HARDNESS TESTING

International Journal of Engineering Science and Technology , 2011,
Abstract: To determine true value of measured quantity is an important asset for Good Laboratory Practice in every area of measurement. Determining the systematic and random errors along the processing ofsamples provides us information on total error and doubt (uncertainty) about true value of measured quantity. The so called “Uncertainty of Measurement” has become an important issue in metrology and its importance has been increasingly realized by material testing laboratories. In an effort to meet National, International, and Commercial Accreditation requirements, users ofMaterials Testing Machines must establish adequate methods of determining calibration and test measurement uncertainties. Determining measurement uncertainty for testing machines and test datacan be a very complex process. Many factors affect the uncertainty of test data produced by testing machines. In case of hardness testing, the result of a measurement is only an approximation to the value of the measurand and is only complete when it is accompanied of the uncertainty. The objective of this study is to develop a methodology for determining the result of measurement concerning hardness properties and their respective uncertainties , Such methodology, which has a possible systematic application, is associated with advanced metrology concepts, aiming a guarantee of metrological reliability to the results of the hardness properties, as well as the possibility of implementation in material laboratories ,in variousindustries .
